Cookies and local storage

Last updated: 8 October 2026.

1. In one sentence

Kazendra sets no cookie — neither for audience measurement, nor for advertising, nor for a social network. That is why no consent banner is displayed : there is nothing to consent to.

2. Why there is no banner

A banner is mandatory only when a cookie that is not strictly necessary is set before consent. Here, there is none : no third-party audience measurement, no ad network, no social network button, no remote font, no embedded video playback.

Displaying an "Accept / Refuse" banner that would change nothing would be scenery. The site does no scenery.

3. What the site uses instead

The site needs to remember a few choices. It writes them to your browser's local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), which is not a cookie : this memory is never sent automatically to a server, and nothing in it is readable by another site.

MemoryWhat it containsOn your device only ?
AccountUsername, password hash, displayed first nameYes
FavouritesThe offers you have kept asideYes
SettingsTheme, display mode, language, country, data savingYes
ActivityCountry viewed, language, source, device type, time — without IP address or identifierYes

No profiling, no resale, no sharing. The site's publisher receives none of this. The details are set out in the privacy policy.

4. Merchant sites, however, do set them

When you click on an offer, you leave Kazendra and arrive at the merchant's site. That site has its own cookies and its own policy, over which Kazendra has no power. The consent banners you see there do not come from us.

5. How to erase what the site has remembered

6. Changes

If a third-party cookie were one day added to the site — this is not planned —, this page would be updated beforehand, and a consent banner would then become necessary. It is not today.
